- Clarify some butter (optional).
- Bring butter to under boiling temperature, aim for 160 degrees
- Slice some shiitake.
- Poach shiitake slices in butter briefly, around 3-4 minutes until golden
- Grill your steak however you enjoy them
- Add steak juices to butter-poached shiitake to marinate
- Top steak with shiitake and juices
